AS Hekotek production plantAS Hekotek is a mechanical engineering company founded in 1992; its main operations include designing and producing woodworking technology installations. The company was founded by specialists who had been working in woodworking industry for decades in Finland; their experiences have been the force behind Hekotek’s growth into the biggest sawmill equipment producing company in the Baltic region. In addition to wood processing sector, Hekotek has produced various installations and conveyors to other sectors of industry as well. 
Currently Hekotek employs approximately 100 full-time employees. Local sales representatives help Hekotek sell its products in its main export markets. Installations are also co-produced with many subcontractors. Hekotek’s turnover for 2008 was 415 million Estonian kroons (26,5 million euros).





Lesozavod 25 increasing pellet production capasity

Modernization of the sawmill technological cycle started as far back as in 2004 was successfully completed in spring 2008 by construction and launch of wooden pellet production plant. Thus, a full closed run with environment-friendly and economically efficient waste recycling was fixed at the sawmill.

Hekotek to win the Russian market: new order from Siberia for pellet plant

November 2009 AS Hekotek (Estonia) and  Novoyeniseski LHK . (Russia, Krasnoyarsk area) signed an agreement on construction of a pellet plant with sawmilling wastes to be used as a raw material. The plant is to be launched summer 2010.
